Meet Cremaine
Cellist, composer, and arranger based in Nashville, Tennessee.
Cremaine Booker, known as ThatCelloGuy, is a Nashville-based cellist, composer, and arranger whose work spans classical music, gospel, R&B, and contemporary recording. His touring work includes Hozier and Sons of Serendip. His recording credits include The Lion King, Geostorm, Masters of the Air, and PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie. A former principal cellist of the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra and The Jackson Symphony, Cremaine brings an orchestral background to his work onstage and in the studio.
A note from Cremaine
I love a melody that has room to breathe, and the way a string arrangement can change the feeling of a song. Those are the details I listen for when I play and write. I want to make music people can return to and hear something new in.
Remote cello recording and string arranging
I record cello and create string arrangements for artists, producers, and composers.
Solo cello, stacked quartets and quintets, larger string ensembles, and full orchestra, recorded remotely from Nashville. Arrangements included when you need them. Send a rough mix, a reference, and your timeline, and we'll agree on the scope before recording begins.
